This module has helped me think about self-directed learners and the role of differentiation in the following ways...
In the past I have always modifed projects for special needs learners but I tend to forget to give them a modified checklist and rubric. Looking back now I think giving them a modified checklist and rubric would have eliminated a lot of confusion on the part of the para's and parents who help them on their projects outside of class.
